Paradise Grille and St. Pete Beach

We had lunch at Paradise Grille situated at St. Pete Beach, Florida. This restaurant is outside casual dining with good food, right by the beach. I had a delicious fried grouper sandwich. I should have ordered the yummy French fries, because my coleslaw was warm and didn't taste nice. After eating lunch, we kicked off our shoes and walked along the beautiful long beach on the Gulf of Mexico.

St. Petersburg, Florida - Part 8

Today's photos are of Pass-A-Grille, St. Pete Beach, Florida. I also have a few nice ones of the iconic 1920's hotel called The Don CeSar. These aren't my last photos of St. Petersburg, but beginning next week, I'll be giving each post their own unique titles. I have a couple of casual restaurants and neat museums lined up.

St. Petersburg, Florida - Part 7

We ate dinner at the Renaissance Vinoy Resort on the 4th of July. These photos are of the formal restaurant and some of the starters and mains that we ordered. I included a pic of our wine too. My step-dad chose most of the wonderful wines that we had in St. Pete, San Diego, Los Angeles, and Atlanta. Yes, we were in all of those places in a short period of time! We also brought over a couple of fabulous wines from South Africa that we enjoyed with them in Atlanta.

St. Petersburg, Florida - Part 6

We spent the 4th of July at the Renaissance Vinoy Resort where my mom and step-dad are members. We first went in the morning to swim and eat a light lunch at the Alfresco Casual Dining area. They make a good burger and fries there. We went back for an elegant dinner at the formal restaurant and to watch St. Pete's fireworks from the Alfresco area. Unfortunately, the fireworks were cancelled that night as there was some wind and rain. Since I don't like my posts getting too long, I'll be sharing the dinner pics next week.

One wing of the hotel has some history about the Renaissance Vinoy Resort and Golf Club with photos and original pieces like dishes and silverware previously used before the renovation. There's also a small exhibit of Chihuly's glass art. I'll be sharing photos of the impressive Chihuly Collection in the near future.
