Britannia Bay - Part 3

Every Christmas we visit my in-laws at their beach house in Britannia Bay. It's about a two hours drive from Cape Town. The Cape Town beaches are always crowded during the Christmas holidays, but not here. I took these photos and all the other photos in this series at the end of last year, December 2017.

Britannia Bay - Part 2

My hubby went boogie boarding on Christmas day in Britannia Bay, South Africa. There were some stunning waves that day. The seagulls in the forefront add another layer of interest to the photos.

Britannia Bay - Part 1

The waves at Britannia Bay were spectacular on Christmas Day. We often have blue skies and especially this time of year being summer in South Africa. I love the shade of green inside the curling wave and the white spray. There are more photos on my previous post, Christmas at Britannia Bay

Christmas at Britannia Bay

Christmas morning at Britannia Bay, South Africa, began with a champagne breakfast. We needed some sustenance before opening presents as there were ten of us! We toasted the morning with a bottle of Graham Beck Brut Rosé 2012. My mother-in-law also made cinnamon rolls that she let rise the night before on Christmas Eve. You can see us opening presents on my blog, Amanda's Books and More.
