Beer Garden Birthday - Part 2

We had a wonderful family lunch at Hillcrest Wine Farm. We were celebrating Samantha's 21st birthday. She chose the venue and it was a big hit. Our waiter was attentive and the service was quick. Everyone enjoyed their food and the desserts were fantastic. I had a blueberry gin and tonic which was delicious.

The two scenic shots were taken on our route home while Hubby drove. Did you miss last week's post? I linked it below under related posts.

Beer Garden Birthday - Part 1

Last Saturday was Samantha's 21st birthday. She chose the venue, Hillcrest Wine Farm in Durbanville, near Cape Town. She booked a table in the beer garden, keeping her grandparent's dog in mind. We prefer being outside anyway, especially during this pandemic. The weather was a bit rainy on our way there, but then the sky cleared.

All the photos were taken with my Canon PowerShot, but not all the photos were by me. Robbie and Amanda each took at least one pic featured below. We were in the car when I took the first six while Hubby drove. I'll share more photos next week.

Lunch at Nitida

We had a delicious lunch at Nitida last Saturday in Durbanville Hills, near Cape Town. We were celebrating my father-in-law's birthday. Ziggy, the miniature Schnauzer, came too. It was special that we could all be together, and the weather was fabulous for a winter's day. I took pics of the kids because it's rare that they are together. Lunch at Botany

We met my mother-in-law and my son for lunch. We went to Botany @ D’Aria in Durbanville. It's a cocktail lounge offering tasty tapas. In my photos are some of the fabulous snacks that we ordered. We had Beef Tagliata, Tempura Prawns, and Calamari Tubes. We also shared a nice bottle of their red wine, Music by D'Aria. It's a blend of Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot. Amanda had a coke. Typically, the minimum age at this restaurant is 23, but we needed a place to sit outside with Ziggy, so they made an exception for us.
