Hex River Valley and Farm Stall

The Sunday before Mother's Day, we took a drive to the Hex River Valley and stopped in and had tea at the farm stall. I took a photo of the cute teapots with my phone and shared it on Instagram. If you want to see the inside of the farm stall, then be sure to check out the linked posts below from a previous visit.

Road Trip to Stellenbosch

After a lovely lunch in Franschhoek, we drove Samantha back to Stellenbosch University. It's a very scenic drive. We stopped and showed the girls where we got married twenty-six years ago. It's a little Anglican church with stained-glass windows and a thatched roof. Hubby's pastor from Stellenbosch came and married us there.

We basically drove a round trip, circling back. My pictures were taken from the passenger side as we drove into Stellenbosch and out again. The view is beautiful from both sides of the road. I also captured three cool sports cars along the way. Near the end is a photo I took of the Franschhoek route with the tour bus and train, as we headed home.

On the Road Home

We recently took a drive to Malmesbury and ate a light lunch at Cherry Lane. It's a pretty drive, so I had my camera with me. On our way home, I managed to snap a few shots of a crop duster in flight. The photo below shows the plane crop dusting. It's that white stripe on the other side of the trees. I took these photos on the fly while Hubby was driving. It's wintertime in South Africa, so there's snow on the mountains too. The last photo is of the view from our home.
