St. Petersburg, Florida - Part 5

Driving through St. Petersburg's Central Arts District, we saw museums and murals. Above is the Museum of Fine Arts and below are the Imagine Museum, Chihuly Collection, and The Dali Museum. I'll be sharing photos from our visits to the Chihuly Collection and The Dali Museum later in the series, as we toured them on separate days.

Thank you for sharing such lovely pics of the area with us. I saw a Chihuly exhibit in the botanical garden in Phoenix a few years ago. Amazing and beautiful. https://peripheralperceptions.wordpress.com/2018/...

Thanks, Lisa, for taking the time to comment! I pop over to Twitter almost every day, so I'm now following you there, although I see that it's not your preferred platform. Have a great week!
Hello Christina,

No, I have a Twitter account, but use it primarily when I’m teaching. I can’t seem to keep up with all the social media! I hope your day is going well.

Tina, till you've been posting these pics, I had no idea St. Petersburg was so big, beautiful and full of character!

My mom and step-dad have spent years in Florida (having their second home there) and decided their latest move would be to St. Pete. It's become their favorite city to live. :)
I'm so glad you had fun in St Pete - you were in my neck of the woods. I live an hour from there.

Oh no! I would have wanted to meet up! I knew of two other people who I could ask to meet up with when we were in the States and they made my day by doing just that. Both are Christian women and indie authors. Well, my mom and step-dad plan to always have a home in St. Pete, so maybe in a few years time, if you don't move away! ♥
Otherwise, you could always come over to South Africa. :D
Next time you visit your mom, drop me a line. I'd love to drive to met you.
I love all of the art and architecture! That is a gorgeous city :)
I loved the architecture of the Dali museum so much and my son and I were bowled over by the Chihuly exhibit.

Ya, the Chihuly Collection was awesome and we also watched the little movie of how the glass is made. We've seen glass blowing before, but on a much smaller scale. I will be sharing photos in the near future of some of the pieces. I'm glad photography was encouraged!
