Buffelsfontein Game Reserve - Part 5

My mom and stepdad paid for us all to stay a night at Buffelsfontein over the Christmas holiday two years ago. These photos were taken outside and inside the restaurant the two days that we were there. The animals below are of a meerkat and a cape mongoose. This is my last blog post for the year! Wishing you a blessed December and New Year!

Buffelsfontein Game Reserve - Part 4

We experienced another exciting game drive on our second day at Buffelsfontein. Our highlight on this day was getting close to the two rhinos. Our game driver knew them well and called them by name to come closer. We also saw giraffe, springbok, wildebeest, lion, and cheetah. If you missed any of the previous photos in the series, I included links below.

Buffelsfontein Game Reserve - Part 3

My mom and stepdad booked two cottages to sleep eight people at Buffelsfontein. We stayed one night and experienced a lot in the two days we were there. The animal sightings in today’s photos were all taken from the vicinity of our accommodation. There were ostrich, ducks, heron, eland (oryx), wildebeest, duiker (small antelope), Egyptian geese, and Cape Francolin (also known as Cape spurfowl).
