An Evening Walk in Nature

We're still alive and well even if we are on Level 3 lockdown in South Africa. We certainly enjoy our nature walks. Most of these photos were taken on the same evening a few days ago. All the pics were taken with my phone's camera.

Nature Walk With Dogs

We're still in Level 3 lockdown here in South Africa. Since we're not visiting establishments of interest, I've been focusing on sharing pics of our nature walks. These are unedited photos that I recently took with my phone (Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime).

Walking in Nature During Lockdown

These are unedited photos that I recently took with my phone (Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime) while out walking in nature. If you look closely, you'll spot some snow on the mountains in the distance. In the last photo I managed to get a good shot of the little plane, even if it is out of focus. I think my phone has a pretty good camera. What do you think?

We are on Level 3 lockdown, which means that we can walk our dogs at any time of the day, but we still have to wear masks. Both of our dogs were adopted as adults from animal shelters and they’re really great dogs. Biscuit is the golden one and Koda is the German Shepherd mix.

Walking Our Dogs

These photos were taken while on Level 4 lockdown when we had to be inside our properties by 9am here in South Africa. We're now on Level 3 lockdown. That means that we can walk our dogs at any time of the day, but we still have to wear masks. Both of our dogs were adopted as adults from animal shelters and they’re really great dogs. Biscuit is the golden one and Koda is the German Shepherd mix.

Places like restaurants and churches are still closed. Some students are allowed to go back to school, but that's being phased in slowly. We understand the risk of infection, so we are supportive of the stand President Cyril Ramaphosa has taken. We also pray daily for the world situation and for the cry for equality and justice in the United States.

Since we can't travel to any interesting destinations, I'll have to look for more photos from previous years that never made it onto the blog. If you've enjoyed seeing a glimpse of our corner of the world, then be sure to check out the links below that I especially chose to go with this one!

Road Trip Between Paarl and Robertson

All of today's photos were taken while on a road trip between Paarl and Robertson in December 2017. Many of these photos I took on the fly while my husband was driving. My mom and stepdad really enjoyed the sign warning about baboons, so I had to capture it on camera. There's also one photo of me that Hubby took. I have included links to previous road trips below. South Africa is truly a beautiful country.
