Hiking with Dogs - Part 2

Leaving the abandoned stock car race track, we saw a couple of small airplanes fly overhead. One of the planes did aerobatics in the sky. It was fun to watch. These photos were taken in July. It was a beautiful day and a leisurely hike. We're in South Africa and it's our wintertime.

Hiking with Dogs - Part 1

Last month, we went hiking with our dogs, Koda and Biscuit, in the Breede Valley. It was a beautiful winter's day. Our destination was an abandoned stock car race track. Two of our daughters, Samantha and Amanda, were with us. Our eldest daughter, Jessica, wasn't, but her name was graffitied in places.

On the Road Home

We recently took a drive to Malmesbury and ate a light lunch at Cherry Lane. It's a pretty drive, so I had my camera with me. On our way home, I managed to snap a few shots of a crop duster in flight. The photo below shows the plane crop dusting. It's that white stripe on the other side of the trees. I took these photos on the fly while Hubby was driving. It's wintertime in South Africa, so there's snow on the mountains too. The last photo is of the view from our home.
