Favorite Farm Stall, Hex River Valley - 1

If you like farmer's markets, antique shops, coffee shops or potted flowers, then you're going to love this new series. I'm going to be sharing photos of our favorite farm stall, which is in the Hex River Valley, South Africa. We went with two of our daughters, Jessica and Amanda, one sunny weekend in September.

By the way, I only just realized after I posted this that I had written Amanda's Books and More on these three images instead of 1camera1mom. I'm going to leave the mistake. It's been a busy last two days. I'll tell you a bit about the ups and downs on Amanda's Books and More. Come check it out. There will also be a linky for all those posting a Wordless Wednesday.

Are you excited yet? I sure am!

The sign above the door says, "Welcome in the Boland." That's the name of this region. Do you see the South African flag in the top left corner? I'm glad the wind was blowing in the right direction. Check out the shovel hanging from the wall to the right and the potted flowers on the wire chair in front of the door. Little touches like these are appreciated by the artistic eye.

  7. I'm following you now, hoping to see life in South Africa. What kind of mission are you on there now? I have been on mission in Nigeria several years back. A very different part of the continent I think.
