Wild Flower Time in South Africa - 9

It took me a little bit longer to get this last post for my wildflower series ready. One reason is that these last two photos were taken with Hubby's mobile phone and they had to be transferred to our laptop.

These flowers were growing everywhere in little patches along the highway and I asked him to let me take a picture, because these were really close to the road. I don't know what they are called, but they are really pretty.

Please come back in a couple of days to check out my latest series. I've got lots of pictures to share with you. There's never a dull moment around here!

Here are the beautiful wildflowers.

Here they are again, but now you can see the environment around them.

Saw you comment on the Monday Mantra blog hop and noticed that you're now living in South Africa! I spent some time there in the 1960's and have never lost the Africa bug! Lovely pictures of the flowers and scenery. Only visited Cape Town on my way back to the UK, via The Garden Route: but lived and worked for nearly a year in Johannesburg (for my sins!). The rest of South Africa was so much nicer!

Oh, the memories.

Will be following you, if only to catch up on the scenery! Meanwhile, why not come and visit me at www.ColdhamCuddliescalling.blogspot.com.? Would love to see you there, and we can then follow each other, maybe?

All the best. in your varied activities. Isobel
