Here are the rest of the photos of our outing to a little town called Robertson in the Western Cape, South Africa. I don't have many photos of the town, but I do have lots of photos of us (my husband, our two youngest children and me) and the countryside.

There's this little town called Robertson that we visited recently with our two youngest girls, Samantha and Amanda. I'll be sharing these photos with you in two batches. Of course, an outing isn't fun without stopping for a treat. We stopped at a popular farm stall, but we weren't allowed to take pictures inside. The one in the Hex River Valley, my previous series, is still my favorite. I'm glad they let me take pictures, so I could share them with you. This one's farm stall wasn't nearly as memorable inside.

With Christmas and New Years now behind me, I can begin to focus once again on my blogs. Today I'm ending off this fun series of photos on our favorite farm stall here in South Africa. When you see today's pictures, you'll know why we enjoy visiting so much. I'll also share an easy photo editing tip toward the end of this post for pictures taken in low lighting without using a flash.

In the photo above, Amanda is sitting on an old fashioned barber's chair. Below I have a Before and After image for you. The picture on the left was taken in low lighting without a flash. I used Picasa 3, which is a free program to edit it. All I did was click on the green sky with the black paintbrush and then I chose the Infrared Film photo editing tool. This tool has a slide bar to allow you to add or subtract as much color as you need. Once I felt that I had eliminated enough yellow without completely losing all the color, I clicked Apply and saved it. This works well if you want your picture to have an antique look. I used this same method for several of the photos on this post.

There is a trampoline at the tea garden for children to use.

It started getting too hot for bare feet, so Amanda

asked if she could jump with her sandals on.

I thought that this was a cute action shot.

This next set of photos are of the flowers that decorate the outside tea garden. I loved all the colors and flower arrangements. Some were arranged in pots and others in a metal trolley, which was also in a flower design. Who doesn't love flowers? Well, maybe if you're allergic to them, then you might not. Then again, you could enjoy them in photos and in art.

I hope you enjoyed these. I have a few more flower photos of this pretty little garden to show you. I'll post them on Tuesday. One of the shots looks nice as a black and white, and so I want to use it for the Wednesday link-ups. Here's an interesting question. If you had the choice between fresh flowers or an art piece depicting them, which would you choose and why?
