Catching Waves - Part 2

Robbie and our two youngest daughters spent the most time out of our family in the sea during the Christmas holiday, usually boogie boarding. I suppose it helped that they were the ones with wet suits. We were at Britannia Bay on South Africa's West Coast, which is the cold South Atlantic Ocean. On this particular day, they were catching waves at sunset. Again, the last photo is my favorite.

Yes, and it's so strange to see the complete opposite here! But, we will get our winter. It's coming when you have your summer. ;)

I like best the photos with the spray coming off the top of the breaking waves. It looks like a fun time.

Yes, I agree that the spray is really cool. I love how the light from the sun is shining through the wave. That's so neat that you got to visit Norway! I still remember seeing images as a kid and being impacted by the stunning scenery and thinking how I would love to go there one day. I can see why it's a wonderful place for photographers. I'm glad you got to use your skills there. Great shots! :)
