My husband and I, along with our youngest child, Amanda, spent part of a beautiful sunny day visiting the quaint town of Tulbagh and two of its surrounding wine estates. You can check out a photo of the Tulbagh Wine Valley map here.
Our first stop of interest was Twee Jonge Gezellen. The Estate specializes in the production of bottle fermented Krone Sparkling Wines, with a dedicated range of Méthode Cap Classique products on offer. Méthode Cap Classique (MCC) is the term that describes the South African bottle-fermented production of sparkling wines in the French méthode champenoise style. While we tasted some of the sparkling wines, Amanda played on her tablet.
