Atlanta - Part 2

Happy New Year 2019! Here are some photos of family time spent in the States. Hubby and I flew out from Cape Town, South Africa to visit my mom and step-dad in Atlanta, Georgia during the summer of 2018. My brother was also visiting and we had a great time. This will be my last series of our time spent in the States and soon I'll be sharing photos of South Africa again.

Something tells me Atlanta isn't open for grilling today but who knows with the way the weather has been. Funny, I was thinking that a New Year's barbeque would be perfect today, thanks for the photos. I just found out it's only a few months until spring training so I'm missing the grill even more. P.S. I wouldn't mix rum and wine. Looking forward to your South African photos.

Thanks for visiting! The rum was for the pineapple on the BBQ. I think my brother took one sip for fun. 😉
Happy New Year!
Good food and great companionship!
Tina, I REALLY want some of that meal! Your stepdad looks like quite the griller :D Were those grilled pineapple slices?!

Yep, and flambéed with rum! He loves cooking and he's really good at it. He does most of the food even though my mom makes great dishes too. :)
I enjoyed your photos. Thanks for sharing at http://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2018/12/king-of-...

I looked at all three parts of your Atlanta trip; it looks like you had a fun time! Yummy looking food. There is nothing quite like grilling to bring out the flavors of summer.
