Just before Christmas, we took Amanda to the World of Birds in Cape Town. It was a neat experience. Most of the time, we were walking inside huge aviaries with a wide variety of birds and somehow we never got pooped on, which I was really happy about.
The Glossy Starling is my favorite bird in this series. It's stunning to look at. Birds that we often see around our house that are pictured below are Hadedas (Ibis), pigeons, and Helmeted Guineafowl.
