Tina, these pictures are absolutely amazing! So there are no barriers between you and the animals? it's like a safari! And I just LOVE giraffes :D

Yes, Donna, it was a self-driven safari for us until we reached Pafuri. Once we arrived there, we were driven around on an open Land Rover for hours with our own game ranger guide for 4 days! It was so cool! If I'm not mistaken, the Kruger National Park is the most famous game park in South Africa.
That's what all zoos should be I think. I had to look up nyala, thanks for the view. You must have an incredible life.

Thanks! It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. My in-laws paid for the trip. We all went together. If I'm not mistaken, the Kruger National Park is the most famous game park in South Africa. It was my first time there and I've lived in South Africa for 22 years.
I have to admit that I really like giraffes. They are amazing creatures.

Yes! I agree, Rhonda. They are so unique that they seem other-worldly.
I'm not sure why, but I've always wanted to see a baobab tree. Perhaps it's because of reading The Little Prince.
Thanks for joining this week's party at https://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2017/08/oooh-ba...

Funny, I don't remember the baobab tree in The Little Prince. I enjoyed the movie, but could never get into the book when I was a kid. I just read that the oldest baobab tree is in South Africa and it's named the Sunland Baobab and is 6,000 years old!
OMG those elephants are amazing. so are the giraffes.
Oh wow, one of things I would love to do is see Elephants in the wild one day
