Blue Skies and Blue Flowers

Today I'm featuring blue skies and blue flowers. If you click on the first sky image, you'll notice a small airplane. Blue is my favorite color. The white clouds were particularly stunning against the blue sky.

The blue wildflower, even though small, still stands out in the veld. Its common names are Blue Flax, Wild Flax, or Showy Sunflax and its Latin name is Heliophila coronopifolia. Heliophila means sun-loving.

All of these photos were taken with my Canon PowerShot. No filters were added.
