In South Africa, many people head to the beach over Christmas, because it’s summertime here and most people are on holiday. In this series, I’m sharing photos of the beautiful beach of Britannia Bay on South Africa’s West Coast in December.

Cape Town had about 200,000 people at their beaches over Christmas and New Year's (the people looked like ants on the beaches - there were so many) and here we were with a gorgeous beach almost to ourselves just two hours away from Cape Town. My in-laws live there, so it was a holiday that cost us nothing. Take care!

However, I haven't been able to go in ages.
I can't imagine going to the beach at Christmas.
