We went to Jason's Hill, near our home, for breakfast on Valentine's Day. They weren't doing anything special for Valentine's Day and we were the first people at the restaurant. There was a tent on the grounds for a wedding that was to take place the following day. Otherwise, the place was relatively quiet. A group of two couples arrived for breakfast soon after us. They chose to eat on the balcony, but we stayed inside, away from the cool breeze that was blowing.
The Bistro at Jason's Hill serves some of the best food in our region and at affordable prices. I don't know why we don't go more often. My first memory there was my birthday many years ago. It was my in-laws' treat. They booked a table for us for lunch. Our three teenagers were very young at the time. Amanda wasn't even born yet. The food was fabulous and whenever I think back on that day, it's with fond memories.
I've got nice photos of the stunning view, delicious food, and colonial decor to share with you today. You can click on the images to make them larger.
