The Watershed and Waterfront, Cape Town

We went to Cape Town for Jessica's 21st birthday celebration. Last week I shared photos of the High Tea that we had and today's photos are of us walking around the Waterfront. We popped in at the Watershed where all kinds of cool handmade things can be bought. I only took a few photos inside and I tried to avoid getting other people in the shots. The photo that has me in looks like a selfie, but actually Hubby took that pic. We didn't have a lot of space to stand, so he was really close to us. All around we had a lovely time and the weather was perfect!

That Blue house is unexpected for me. The Dutch influence? Or just old grandure (from the English?). Love the bean bags!

The Old Port Captain's Building was built in 1904 in what is today the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. The building is a good example of the Arts and Crafts School of architecture. Today it serves as the African Trading Post, housing various arts and crafts. From: https://www.cape-town-heritage.co.za/heritage-sit...
I love the beautiful water pics. Vacation time is my favorite.
