Kite Surfing at Britannia Bay - Part 1


I have so many nice kite surfing shots that I have to break them up over two parts. Otherwise, it's going to be photo overload if I don't. The hardest moment to capture well was when a kite surfer lifted off completed. The last photo is an example, but I have two more reserved for next week. Did you know that kite surfers can reach speeds of over 50 miles (80 km) and hour?

These are great kite surfing shots, Tina! I was trying that about a week ago only on ice and the snow really messed them up.

Thank you! My arms got tired holding the camera in position waiting for those moments, but of course lots of near duplicates and others weren’t good enough to share. 😉
