Mazzaro's Italian Market

Mazzaro's Italian Market is an awesome deli in St. Petersburg, Florida, where you can buy freshly made pasta and mozzarella cheese, freshly baked breads and cakes, and many other wonderful things. There are bar stools in the bakery section for people who want to stop for a sandwich and coffee. My mom and step-dad visit there often to buy bread, mozzarella, and rum balls to satisfy that sweet craving. It's impossible not to salivate when walking through Mazzaro's. They even have an extensive wine selection.

It's been a while since I drove down to St Pete - I'm about an hour north of there. I've never been to Mazzaro's Italian Market but I definitely need to visit there! Yum !
I really can't get over how beautiful and full of culture St. Petersburg is. I had NO idea till you started posting pics :) I can't imagine NOT being drawn to a deli with the side of the building as a full scale Italian mural! Living in Northern New Jersey and growing up as a child in the Bronx (not to mention I'm full blood Italian lol), we're very familiar with Italian delis, though it's not always easy to find the REALLY good ones. (Home cooking makes you fussier.) A couple years ago we got all excited about an Italian Supermarket opening up, and WOW, it's amazing. I had taken pics of every corner of the store and had thought to do a blog post on it, but never took the time. I just LOVE specialty stores and I'm actually grateful Uncle Giuseppi's is a 20-minute drive or I'd be in there regularly 😮😄

I can imagine! Neat hearing about your experiences and heritage too. If we lived in St. Pete, we’d have to be well off, because I would want to try all those fresh pastas and more! 😄
What an interesting and fun place to shop.
