Two weekends ago, Amanda and I celebrated our birthdays at Opstal in the picturesque Slanghoek valley in South Africa's wine region. It was my mother-in-law's treat. We had great weather, a beautiful view, and delicious food. Slanghoek is one of my favorite valleys and Opstal is one of my favorite places to visit for wine tasting.
