Kruger National Park - Part 11

These photos were all taken at the Pafuri lodge in the Kruger National Park. The elephants, for example, were lots of fun to watch. There were always plenty of wildlife to see and wonderful food to taste. We were never hungry, that's for sure!

Yes, we were very blessed. I think hearing them was just as amazing as seeing them. When they munch on trees, they snap branches off that sounds like the cracking of a gun against a relatively silent forest.
The elephant is my favorite animal! I love your photos. Seeing them in a herd like that must be a unique experience. The most I've seen in RL is 3, in a zoo. How lucky you are to experience that!

Thanks! Yes, it was a very special experience. And that they can pretty much roam freely and behave like elephants are supposed to behave. A zoo just can't offer that.
Wow the food really does look amazing and I love Elephants and really hope to get to see them in the wild one day
