Kruger National Park - Part 2

Our first night at the Kruger National Park was spent at the Mopani Camp. It's named after the mopane trees, which have a distinct butterfly shaped leaf. We saw these trees in their beautiful autumn colors. We stayed in the spacious thatched cottages and cooked our meat on the outside fire. In South Africa it's called a braai, which is the same as a barbecue.

The Impala Lilies are endangered. They are so bright against an often brown backdrop.
