uniWines in Rawsonville - Part 2

Robbie and I enjoyed a fabulous early afternoon of wine tasting at uniWines. We tried several of their different ranges of wine. The Palesa wines are Fairtrade certified, which means these wines have been produced with a respect for the people and the environment. The Meander wines are easy drinking wines with the belief that life is a journey and not a race. The Ankerman wines are top quality, value for money wines. They celebrate the popular sport in the valley of "toutrek" (Afrikaans for "tug-of-war").

Our purchases

We bought 2 bottles of Palesa Sauvignon Blanc, 2 bottles of Ankerman Chenin Blanc Chardonnay, 2 bottles of Ankerman Nectar de Provision Red, 2 bottles of Meander Moscato White and 2 bottles of Meander Moscato Pink. We also bought 6 bottles of Wild Clover Craft Beer, which belongs to uniWines and is produced in Stellenbosch. They were not available for tasting, so we decided to only buy the milder flavors, namely the Eagle Weiss and the Blind Mole.
