Open Air Museum, South Africa - Part 1

I took Amanda to see the museum at Kleinplasie, which means "small farm". The museum is mostly about the lives of the Dutch pioneers in South Africa, including some things about the Africans that were living in the area at the time.

We spent two hours walking around the museum inside and outside. When I wanted to go, Amanda asked if we could stay longer and then she asked if we could come back the next day. She often enjoys the outings that we go on and I love that about her.

She really wanted to pet them, but many of them had horns, so I told her not to go too close in case they thought she was a threat and went for her. I also told her not to go any closer to the geese, since they can bite.

Those sheep are fun. I wonder if they chased her around? My boys were are sheep last year. They were playing tag.

I told her not to get too close, because some of them had horns and I was worried that they might think she was threat and go for her. Thankfully, all was calm and peaceful that morning, probably because Amanda did listen to me. :)
