We went wine tasting at the annual Nuy Valley Feast this past Saturday. It was a family orientated event with an entrance fee for everyone 18 years and older with a wine glass included. There was a mountain bike challenge with 600 participants and many other fun activities. We enjoyed taking the tractor rides from farm to farm. It was a great way for me to photograph the valley, since we weren't going too fast and I wasn't looking through the windows of a car.
At Willow Creek we did some olive oil tasting and tried a couple of De Wet Cellar wines. Amanda jumped on the jumping castle while her sister, Samantha, and her friend helped look after her. We also checked out the variety of food stands, but some of the things we tried were not worth mentioning. I enjoyed the olive oil tasting the most and we bought my mother-in-law a bottle of the blood orange flavored olive oil for Mother's Day.
We passed this farm stall on
our way to the Nuy Valley.
