The neat thing about taking a country drive in South Africa is seeing the various farm stalls that pop up along the way. This one is a great example of that. If you look closely, there are two scarecrow-like characters sitting at the entrance, an old man and woman, each with a basket of goodies on their laps. At most farm stalls you can buy things like fresh farm produce, nuts, dried fruits, biltong (which is similar to beef jerky in the States), homemade jams and preserves, and handmade items like cards or soaps. In this shop you can see some of the handmade things on display from the decorative hanging hearts to the colorful pinwheels. The second photo Hubby took of me standing in front of the farm stall. It gives you an idea of what the little shop looks like from the road.
